This project suggest a critical reflection of natural and cultural concepts. Its dichotomy feature seems to strengthen links with appear of abandonment. Once the human being distance a place. This space end empty and nature start a deconstruction process.
Objects destruction make us feel wreck, it also begin the death of the elements. It display the end of the previous enviroment which has been artificially generated. This nature begin now a game that time is an allied.
The need to display scenes tend to combat vertigo confusion. The inside scenes choice to this project is owing to build a protective place with a controlled climate as a human need. Those places host stories as a witness and as a participant observation.
Inside enviroments reflect some real spaces located in Chernobil which shortly become a ghost city. The nuclear disaster cause a population abandon. The nature is the only force which take part in this place. Some elements display the past human activity in this place.
Work made by this project is numbered with 96.33, the last radiation found in the limits of this area 30 years later.
"Bitacora de una ausencia" is my effort to recompose an aparently disordered reality.
In "Memoria analógica y digital. El relato abierto del recuerdo" research project, I analise the memory construction when digital society arrives. For this reason I analise the analogical memory, digital memory born and the way we are implied.
For this project above mentioned I use present concepts of memory in a digital world, watching similarities with traditional concepts in analogical world.
During my investigation, I work on strategies we use to create memories in both means. I formulate a colaborative memory process where the analogic and digital create a common narration which feed each other.
